  • identify air as a mixture of gases, vapors, and solid particles.
  • identify possible air pollutants and investigate their sources and effects.
  • identify and recognize possible air pollution control ideas.
  • recognize and appreciate the importance of proper waste disposal and recycling.
  • identify ways in which they can reduce energy consumption.
  • describe global concerns as they affect our environment.
